Cederberg Wilderness Reserve

The Cederberg Wilderness area, situated about 2 hours from Cape Town, is known for its rugged landscapes and dramatic beauty. Named after the Ceder tree that grows in the area, the Cederberg boasts incredible rock formations, bushman paintings and botanical diversity as it forms part of the Cape Floral Kingdom.

We offer a variety of 3 –5 day hikes in the area and will put a special package together that caters to your specific needs. These trips include all gear and one of the most popular hikes is an overnight trek to the majestic Wolfberg Arch.

Hiking to the Wolfberg Arch through the Wolfberg Cracks is a bucket list adventure for many as it offers incredible views; ample adventure and you get to experience the martian landscape in all its glory.

It should be noted that hikes in the reserve require endurance and strength, as it is not an easy landscape to navigate. You will be self-reliant and will carry all your gear on your back. Your guides will ensure you complete the hikes safely and enjoy the area to its max! Camping in a Wilderness Reserve comes with great responsibility to protect the land and all it offers.
