Cape Point Shipwreck Hike & BBQ
This event makes for an adventurous day exploring shipwrecks along the coast in the Cape Point Nature Reserve followed by a relaxing picnic and swim at Buffels Bay within the reserve and get treated with a delicious South African style bbq/braai for lunch!
The day starts with an easy walk along the beach, making it perfect for the whole family or anyone looking for a fun day out.
There are multiple shipwrecks found along the coast which we will stop and explore. It is also very likely that we will see wild life such as buck, baboons and ostriches.
Our next stop is at Buffels Bay within the reserve (10-minute drive). A spot where we can relax, take in the fresh ocean breeze or take dip at the beautiful secluded beach or tidal pool.
This is a great opportunity for a full day out filled with adventure, relaxation and to top it off we have included a braai platter (Halaal) for lunch, which will be prepared by your host when we get to Buffels Bay.
